On the Wings of Eagles
Ingredients
- 0.5 ounce Fernet-Branca
- 1.5 ounces cognac
- 0.8 ounce rye whiskey
- 0.8 ounce green Chartreuse
- 2 dashes bitters
- mint sprig
Method
Add the Fernet-Branca into a rocks glass and roll the glass to coat the sides of the glass. Discard any excess, if desired. Add the cognac, rye, green Chartreuse and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain the drink into the prepared glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with a mint sprig.
